Ooh, is that the cover image in the last panel?

I enjoy how it shows the passage of time here.

So being a deer is basically a free pass to have your sister do all the housework for like 10 years while you just watch, eat, sleep, and (off-panel, but you know it’s happening) let your waste drop wherever you happen to be at the time? This “curse” is basically the average man’s greatest dream come true.

      Oh don’t assume the worst about him. I’m sure he’s decent enough to go outside to drop his waste. ^^;

There is really not much he can do as a deer, what with having cloven hooves for hands. Also, this is a fairy tale, nobody wastes.

If this deer can talk, then he can definitely help keep Jane from going crazy by holding conversations with her.

Wait, wouldn’t talking to a deer usually constitute crazy?

Not if the deer talks back. And depending on what the deer says. (son of Sam reference)

Aw–this is adorable! I love how time is shown in this comic through the brother growing antlers.

Why isn’t he choking? Those garters are not completely elastic. Maybe it’s stretched out. What would fit around a fawn’s neck will NOT fit on a full sized stag. But it is not like they have a lot of resources to buy a collar or something like that. And yeah, I know, it’s a fairy tale, but still.

It shows her sewing her dress, it’s possible she resew the garter to fit his neck, it’s ruffled so letting out the stitches shouldn’t have been difficult.

lol…I love how you are obsessing over the garter size and not the fact that in the 7-10 year period depicted she is miraculously able to re-sew her one dress enough to continue to wear it. lol..that thing should be in tatters and she should basically be reduced to a breechcloth and bra if any of it survived that long.

Another river has the ‘wash it in me and it will always fit’ curse.

Yes! Except it would be more of a charm than a curse.

“Brother, why aren’t you helping me clean the house?”
“Because I am a deer, sister.”

The brother might not look like he’s doing much work, but his part time job of pulling Santa’s sleigh every year really helped bring in some extra money.

Yeah, I wondered about the garter too. I guess latting it out would make sense.
    But otherwise: those antlers? WIN.

Sister works during the day. Meanwhile, brother goes out and copulates with the local hinds.
I STILL think he should go find the tiger spring before his sister decides she wants to eat venison.
