Maid Maleen, known in German as Jungfrau Maleen, is an interesting look at another strong female character in the world of Grimm tales. I won’t ruin it for those who are unfamiliar with the story, but please enjoy. This story is delightfully illustrated by Louisa Roy.

Ohhhh I can’t wait for the upcoming tales. Several of them are amongst my all time favs like Brother and Sister, Snow White and Rose Red, and All Furr. So how often will updates occur?

Catskin is a Grimm’s tale. In my complete collection, it’s under the name “Allerleirauh”. I used to tell it from memory (and highly embellished) as a bedtime story to my campers years ago when I was a camp counselor.
