Panel 2: She looks upset. Emelia: They will laugh at me and I would have to insist they be put to death. That will not do as my new role of future queen.

Ehhh, I’ve seen worse. A quick tweeze where her eyebrows SHOULD end, maybe shape those puppies (NOTE TWEEZE THEM TO DEATH FOR GAIA’S SAKE!), maybe round off her nails, and she’d probably be okay.

Might have been more effective in portraying her ugliness if you’d never showed it at all…just flashbacks of people being horrified by it.
